Maureen Holman
Maureen Holman serves DC Water as Vice President, Shared Services. In this capacity, she oversees the Security, Safety, Emergency Management, Fleet and Facilities departments. Ms. Holman provides leadership, guidance, coordination and oversight for planning and implementing policies and procedures that promote sustainability and environmental stewardship within the Authority's operations. She is an expert adviser to the CEO and executive staff and provides recommendations and analysis regarding major issues affecting sustainability, stewardship and environmental compliance.
Ms. Holman leads and manages an Authority-wide sustainability program by coordinating operations, planning, research and innovations across staff and contractors. She monitors all sustainability goals and projects, including those incorporating climate change resiliency. Additionally, Ms. Holman provides support in the development and implementation of energy and natural resource conservation projects, including energy conservation and green building design.
Ms. Holman joined the Authority in 2009. Before joining the Authority, Ms. Holman worked at the District Department of the Environment, where she was the special assistant to the director.
Ms. Holman has a bachelor's degree in environmental studies from the University of Southern California and a law degree from the University of Georgia.
