The District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water) is issuing a Boil Water Advisory today for some customers after a temporary loss of pressure. DC Water advises customers to not drink or cook with their water without boiling it first if they are in the impact area.

(Washington, DC) – On or about May 26, 2021, between 11 pm and 1 am, the 74-ton main drive of the tunnel boring machine (TBM) will be hauled away from DC Water’s R Street, NW construction site. (Washington, DC) – DC Water’s contractor continues to disassemble and haul away parts of Chris the tunnel boring machine (TBM). Three pieces of the TBM will be removed and hauled this week to the project construction site near RFK Stadium.
