Over the past 20 months, over 111,000 of the new meters, which provide much more accurate water consumption readings at a lower cost to our ratepayers, have been installed. These new meters are an important part of WASA's ongoing effort to use technology to improve both the quality of information available to our customers and the timeliness of our response to your questions or concerns.

Testing will continue through September 10 at six Maryland locations closest to January sewer collapse

DC Water is moving from daily Potomac River water quality testing to testing twice a week. The change is part of our continued response to the January Potomac Interceptor sewer collapse. Daily testing continued past the original July 31 end date and today will be the last day DC Water will test at the 10 current locations.
