Save Water. Save Money. Get Repairs at No Cost!
Welcome to DC Water’s Residential Leak Assessment and Repair Assistance Programs (RLAAP & RLRAP). These programs help eligible customers identify and fix household leaks, reducing high water bills and preventing unnecessary water waste.
How It Works
- Leak Alert Notification – If you're enrolled in CAP+, CAP1, or CAP2 and receive a High Usage (HUNA) or Consecutive Usage (CUNA) alert, we'll contact you about a free leak assessment.
- Licensed Plumber Inspection – With your approval and a signed Right of Entry form, a licensed plumber will inspect common problem areas like toilets, faucets, and outdoor spigots.
- Detailed Leak Report – You'll receive a full checklist outlining any leaks found.
- Free Repair Assistance – If funds are available, we'll connect you with a Residential Leak Repair Assistance Program (RLRAP)-approved plumber to make the necessary repairs—at no cost to you!
Who Is Eligible?
You qualify if you:
- Are enrolled in CAP+, CAP1, or CAP2
- Have received a High Usage (HUNA) or Consecutive Usage (CUNA) alert from DC Water
Why It Matters
