Join DC Water in observing Imagine a Day Without Water on October 17th, a national day of action highlighting the value of water in our lives. In partnership with the US Water Alliance, this campaign emphasizes the often-overlooked importance of reliable, safe water systems and how essential they are to daily living. Imagine waking up without clean water for drinking, cooking, or sanitation—this is the stark reality millions of Americans face due to aging infrastructure, climate change, and unequal access.
This year’s theme, “What’s your drop in the bucket?,” asks each of us to consider how we can contribute to protecting and improving water access for all. Join us in advocating for solutions that ensure every community has the water resources they need, today and in the future. Together, we can make a lasting impact—one drop at a time.
