FOUR HOUR WATER SHUT-OFF IN NORTHWEST-- AFFECTS NORTH CAPITOL AND LONGFELLOW STREETS TO 4TH STREET AND MISSOURI AVE.

A water shut-off this evening will affect residents in the area of North Capitol and Longfellow Streets, N.W., to 4th Street and Missouri Ave., N.W.

Water will be shut off from 10 p.m. this evening to 2 a.m., December 30th.

The shut-off is preparation for repair of a chronically leaking valve at 3d and Longfellow Streets, N.W. The leak is undermining the roadway.

Water is expected to be restored by 2 a.m.
