Traffic Advisory - DC Water Annual Storm Drain Cleaning Brings Closure to Canal Road, NW between Foxhall Road and Arizona Avenue

Closure Information for November 10, 2017

(Washington, DC) – DC Water is performing its annual storm drain cleaning on Canal Road, NW. This project will result in a road closure on Canal Road, NW between Foxhall Road and Arizona Avenue on Friday, November 10, 2017. Traffic will be detoured during the closure to allow crews to access the storm drains.

Important Information:

  • Closures will occur on Canal Road, NW in both directions. The closure is scheduled to be in effect from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.
  • Temporary traffic signs will be set up throughout the area to alert motorists of the closure.
  • Some traffic delays within the vicinity of the work areas are anticipated and motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
