My DC Water FAQ's

 

Who needs to register?

Individuals seeking online access to their account are eligible to register. This applies to property owners, management companies, and non-owners. Non-owners include tenants, third parties, and other individuals associated with a property.

Are there different types of profiles?

There are three types of profiles: owner, management company, and non-owner. These profiles generally offer similar account access and functionality. However, non-owner registrations require approval from either the owner or management company.

Can multiple individuals register for a property?

Yes, a property may have associated owner and management company profiles as well as multiple non-owner profiles.

Can I manage multiple properties through the same profile?

Yes, both owners and management companies may link multiple accounts to their profile, however, only one owner and one management company can be associated with an account.

What information is required to register?

You will need the DC Water Account Number, Service Address, and the Owner's Last Name to register. The registration and login portal can be accessed at mydcwater.com.

Is electronic billing (E-Bill) supported?

Yes, both paper and electronic billing are available for owners, whereas non-owners are restricted to electronic billing.

Are there mobile apps to access your profile?

We do not currently offer mobile applications. However, you can access your account online by visiting mydcwater.com.

Can I pay my bill online without being registered or logging in?

To make a payment, visit mydcwater.com, select One-Time Payment, and enter the required payment information.
